The NRC is more than just a training ground; it’s an experience that blends intense riding with camaraderie, adventure, and a laidback atmosphere. From a riding perspective, the training grounds are unique. The size and variety of dunes make this terrain unlike anywhere else on the planet. One fascinating characteristic is that Namibia is one of the few places in the world where dunes have three different slip faces due to constant wind changes. Unlike other dune fields where the dunes all slant one way, each dune in Namibia is distinct, providing an ever-changing challenge for riders.
